In my 10+ year career as a marketer, I’ve worn many hats. I started by producing videos, then shifted to managing complex AR workstreams at Meta, and applied this knowledge to Ultimate Food Tours. I’ve had success managing complex projects for giant global brands by establishing clear goals, aligining cross-functional teams to a shared outcome, and getting buy in from senior leadership. I have also been successful in identifying revenue streams for businesses and building marketing campaigns that boost revenue and help businesses acheieve exponential growth. I do this with combinations of paid media, SEO, social media, PR, data analysis, and social listening.

Ultimate Food Tours

I launched Ultimate Food Tours in 2019 by posting it on a whim on AirBNB. As revenue grew, I realized I needed to make this an actual business. I launched my website and realized I had a problem - It wasn’t attracting new customers! I knew I needed to get the word out and the solution was marketing. I went all in and was able to increase my revenue year over year. I did this by:

  1. SEO: I optimized my website so it would appear organically (free) on Google when people searched for words related to my business.

  2. Social Media: I knew I had a unique story and I wanted to tell it. My background is in video production so I used video to be visible on the platforms. I created content around relevant topics for my business that added value to my followers’ feeds. I had several videos go viral, but most importantly, I unlocked Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn as revenue funnels. I even used SEO techniques to boost my rankings on search and social platforms.

  3. PR: I realized I had a unique story and was able to get coverage in CNBC, Business Insider, Entrepreneur Magazine, the US Chamber of Commerce, and more.

As my exposure and revenue increased, I started to get requests to do marketing for various companies, so I launched Search Goodfriend…

Search Goodfriend

As Ultimate Food Tours found success, other businesses started to notice. They asked me if I could handle different aspects of their marketing. That’s when I launched Search Goodfriend, Your Best Friend in Marketing. I’ve been lucky to work with the following companies

Nanotronics

  1. Problem: Nanotronics wasn’t getting enough inbound leads from their digital properties. Since they were relatively new to the space, their competitors had a deep digital moat that was tough to clear.

  2. Solution: We decided to use SEO to boost organic traffic. Because winning some keywords would be hard given the brand’s younger age, we decided to focus on being visible on AI search. We picked keywords we could never win against the top five leaders in the space, and were able to place an average of second place across many competitive keywords. This boosted leads and traffic and lead to an increase in scope.

La Dolce Guida

  1. Problem: La Dolce Guida was launched in 2025, had an amazing website, and didn’t know where to start.

  2. Solution: We put together a package of consulting and SEO where we provided a launching point for the business. We optimized the website for organic search, pitched to media outlets for PR coverage, advised on putting the products on platforms, and gave tips on how to get reviews. The company finished 2025 with strong bookings and is well positioned to win in 2026.
